Coca-Cola Proudly Sponsors One Family, Two-Time Junkanoo Winners

Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), local producers of Coca-Cola and Dasani products, continues to uplift Bahamian culture with an annual $20,000 sponsorship to the One Family Junkanoo Group during the 2025/2026 season.

CBC, a historic sponsor of the A category group, is proud to lend its support once again.
“The unwavering dedication and countless hours poured into bringing Junkanoo to life is truly extraordinary. We recognize both the costs and the tireless effort behind it all and are proud to contribute to ensuring this world-class spectacle continues to grow and thrive. Junkanoo is an event we as Bahamians cherish,” noted Jonathan Thronebury, Director of Marketing at CBC.

In addition to this sizable donation, CBC Team members crowded Bay and Shirley Street at the 2025 Boxing Day parade along with One Family rushers featuring a Coca-Cola themed float.

Throughout the parade CBC handed out branded Coca-Cola whistles, rally towels, and cowbells along with Coca-Cola Original and Coca-Cola No Sugar beverages to excited Junkanoo bystanders.

“We are always excited to participate in parades. It’s a great feeling to experience the spirit of Junkanoo alongside members of the One Family Group. It certainly provides a deeper appreciation for what they do,” Marc Dorely, CBC Marketing Associate shared.

Leading up to the parades, CBC donated cases of Coca-Cola Original and Coca-Cola No Sugar to One Family members as they worked tirelessly to finalize their costumes and routines.

CBC’s continued support year over year is a testament of the company’s commitment to celebrating Bahamian culture and upholding its corporate values.
