Coca-Cola Bahamas donates an unprecedented 1,782 cases of Dasani water since Saturday October 3rd.

On Friday October 2nd as it became apparent that the Southern Islands of The Bahamas would require great amounts of relief efforts, Caribbean Bottling Company, local producers of Coca-Cola products including Dasani water added additional production schedules for the Dasani line. This additional production has allowed CBC to donate an unprecedented 1,782 cases of 20oz and 1.5L Dasani water. CBC started relief efforts Saturday morning delivering water to Rotary’s efforts, and continued on Sunday. As of Tuesday October 6th, the company had made deliveries to Furniture Plus (for national distribution via HeadKnowles #HKSOS initiative), to the Island Link to Long Island, New G for Acklins and Crooked Island, Lady Francis for San Salvador, and 400 cases to the Red Cross for national distribution. Anyone wishing to purchase additional water for relief efforts are welcome to purchase from CBC distribution points at the discounted rate of $8 per case for both 20oz and 1.5L Dasani.

On Tuesday October 6th three CBC employees along with a 700 plus cases of product (water and sodas) went to Long Island to help with relief efforts. CBC employees, in both New Providence and Grand Bahama, have also made donations of water, food, clothing, and cleaning materials. We are all working together to help our fellow Bahamians in the southern islands overcome this devastation.
