• Complete all paint preparation processes for vehicles according to factory specification and by following the written repair order at the direction of the supervising Paint Technician
• Assist Auto Body Repairman by preparing panels to determine paint blend needs and assist in sanding and buffing to ensure the paint finish meets quality standards
• Utilize all necessary tools such as air sanders, spray guns, and sanding blocks, to ensure complete, quality work
• Clean, wax, polish and refurbish vehicles
• Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician
• Follow all required safety guidelines and proper use of equipment and follow proper refinishing procedures in compliance with CBC guidelines
• Assist in maintaining health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements according to company and regulatory policies
• Any other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years’ experience in Auto Body Repair
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well as a part of a team and communicate effectively with others
• Attention to detail
