Functions

The Pre-Seller is responsible for visiting assigned customers within their route to capture orders, promote new products, and ensure full coverage of accounts according to the service schedule. The role supports sales growth by strengthening customer relationships, improving SKU penetration through cross-selling, and ensuring accurate and timely order capture in the company’s sales system.

Task & Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned customers according to the approved route plan and frequency.
  • Conduct store visits to capture customer orders, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Discuss promotions, price changes, and new product introductions with customers.
  • Identify and recommend cross-selling opportunities based on product portfolio and customer profile.
  • Maintain a consistent coverage rate and hit rate as per company standards.
  • Review previous order history and stock levels to support appropriate order volumes.
  • Communicate any customer issues, feedback, or service concerns to the Assistant Manager-Sales.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct during all customer interactions.
  • Ensure assigned vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times and promptly reporting maintenance or repair needs as they arise.
  • Assist in maintaining health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements according to company and regulatory policies.
  • Identify recommendations to contribute to risk reduction and sustainable performance.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Competancy:

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • BGCSEs including Math & English
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in sales or customer service role within the FMCG or beverage industry.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Desired Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer-relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in tablet-based order-entry tools (eoTouch or similar).
  • Results-driven with understanding of sales metrics (coverage, hit rate, SKU penetration).
  • Solid understanding of cross-selling and product portfolio strategy.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to execute route visits effectively.

Training:

  • Relevant KORE requirements and company procedures.
  • Awareness of Integrated Management System:
  • IMS Policy and Objectives.
  • Training in applicable work procedures: Quality, Food Safety and GMPs
  • Fundamentals of sales & execution.
  • CBC Sales model and customer segmentation.
  • Understanding of job-specific risks and operational controls to achieve risk reduction and sustainable performance.
  • Understanding of consequences for departure from operational controls.

Accountability:

  • Generates: Sales opportunities and customer orders.
  • Manages: Assigned customer portfolio within route.
  • Reports To: Assistant Manager-Sales.
