Caribbean Bottling Company Pledges Ongoing Support to COVID-19 Relief Efforts

CBC has been making ongoing beverage donations, to groups like the Bahamas Red Cross, to assist with Covid-19 relief

Since March of 2020, many Bahamians around the entire country have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to the diligent efforts of medical, community outreach and assistance groups, the nation has banded together to not only grapple with the impact of the virus, but slowly take steps to developing a new sense of normalcy. The Caribbean Bottling Company (Bahamas) Ltd. (CBC) has remained committed to supporting communities and providing assistance to a number of outreach groups, in their ongoing efforts to provide relief, support and meals to those in need. And, to date, CBC has donated over $250,000 in beverages to charitable organizations, food distribution centers, and outreach programs, in the past year.

“We are so grateful to the hard work and diligence of the men and women who have selflessly been working to provide assistance to those who have needed the support of their neighbors and fellow Bahamians, throughout the past year”  noted Nikia Wells, CBC Communications Marketing Manager. “We have seen an outpouring of support in communities, which has been a bit of a silver lining as the nation continues to tackle the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the past year, we have continued to partner consistently with groups like Hands for Hunger, The Salvation Army, The Bahamas Red Cross, Great Commission, Lend-A-Hand, as well as a number of smaller soup kitchens, community groups and members of the local Bahamian manufacturing and production community. But, we have seen a number of individuals, and small groups who have banded together, to support their communities because they saw a need and wanted to help. We have donated over 17,000 cases of beverages over the past year, and will continue to do so.”
