CBC Supports Sailing Rising Star, Craig Ferguson Jr.

Jaquel Storr, CBC Marketing Team Member, and Craig Ferguson Jr.

The Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) has come on board as a proud sponsor of youth sailing rising star, Craig Ferguson Jr. CBC has a long history of supporting sailing events, around the country. Each year, the company invests in the advancement of the sport, which celebrates Bahamian culture and history. They are also eager to nurture the talents of the next generation of sailing enthusiasts.

“We are extremely proud to support young Bahamians, like Craig.” noted Gabriella Suighi, CBC Activations Marketing Manager. “We are not only extremely impressed by his dedication and commitment to the sport, but we recognize how important it is to invest in the future of the country.”

CBC is providing monetary assistance for Ferguson to compete in several international regattas, the first being the Sunshine States Regatta in Jensen Beach, Florida from March 6-8, 2020.

Suighi added that in addition to their support of the talented sailor, CBC will be contributing to the sailing community, as a whole. “We plan to invest in the preservation and progression of sailing in the Bahamas, and in a few short months, we will be announcing a major initiative that will aim to celebrate the sport and contribute to the education of other young sailors.”

CBC recently supported the St. Valentine’s Day Regatta, on Feb 15-16, and will return as a proud sponsor of the National Family Island Regatta, the Long Island Regatta, the All Andros and Berry Islands Regatta, The Cat Island Regatta and the Best of the Best Regatta in New Providence.
